In the hood

June 9, 2011

The last few days Theo has been on a hoody (I just checked the spelling of hoodie) kick. He found his blue hoodie and wears it constantly. Yesterday when we went to the park and I had to forcibly remove it. When we arrived home he put it back on immediately.
I just cooked Theo breakfast and he ate while wearing his ubiquitous hoodie. Then I took him potty which is where I change his pajamas to day clothes. He made sure his hoodie was safely away from the other clothes which I throw down the laundry shoot to the basement. But I thought maybe I can get away with it. So I grabbed his ubiqu-hoodie and tossed it while he was indisposed. His eyebrows frowned as he carefully watched. After all the bathroom morning routines were over, Theo ran out of the room, to the stairs, where he turned to look at me and I looked at him and in that moment we both knew — hoodie-rescue. I’m about to go into the livingroom to check. One-hundred to one?

The hoodie was there, but it was laying on the couch. That’s progress.
