Cheese and children

Yesterday, for lunch, I was fixing cheese, crackers, and peppers in the kitchen when I notice a neighbor driving by and looking at the front of the house. That is usually a tip off that Theo is out front, so I opened the door to see Theo spraying Holly’s plant with WD-40. I suggested to him that soaking a potted plant with a spray lubricant is not the best use of the lubricant and maybe not too good for the flora and fauna.
So I got the can and got him inside, and then went to wash my hands when Theo saw the cheese and crackers. Well he grabbed the cheese before I could grab him with wet hands, so I just got him a plate, being the nice father that I am, and placed the flavored cheese on his plate. He promptly took off to eat his second lunch and I bet it went down easy.
Cheese and children

Yesterday day our Lord’s Day feast was scaled way back, since Holly has been working so much. Theo had nachos – one of his favorites; since the cheese has gluten. Well we left him at the table to eat his heart’s delight. He eats very slowly. Holly and I went out back to talk about wedding plans (not us – we got married about a year and a half ago) and enjoy the warm weather. While we were sipping and sifting through the plans, Theo had finished his nachos. However, the cheese was left out as well as the chips, so he decides to make his own. When I went upstairs to refill and check on him, I noticed a refilled plate and oddly cut cheese chunks, not melted, on chips. So I looked at the block of cheese on the kitchen counter and it looked as though a chainsaw had been used to cut it. Theo was determined to have more cheese even if the aesthetic value was equal to an horror movie. So I took pictures and sent them downstairs for a good laugh.
Later when I checked on him again the cheese chunks were huge; the block of cheese was reduced to two mutilated pieces and I’m giving him juice all day.
